The journey into law…

Anushka commenced working in the legal profession as a Legal Assistant in 2019. She subsequently worked in various legal firms as a legal assistant, progressing towards a paralegal prior to her admission. While working in the legal industry, she has gained valuable legal and administrative experience in different practice areas including family law, criminal law, personal injury, litigation and transactional matters.

Following her admission as a legal practitioner, Anushka stuck to her passion and continued to practice in family law.

Experience in family law

During Anushka’s time in the family law arena, she has gained valuable skills in property, parenting and like disputes.

Anushka has experience in drafting legal documents for Court, taking daily carriage of matters, and appearing before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia to advocate for the client’s needs. She has provided great assistance in complex litigation matters involving parenting risk matters, spousal maintenance, child support and matters involving high property pools.

While doing this, Anushka’s passion in family law allows her to form close relationship with clients and provide assistance in a compassionate and timely manner.

Other areas of expertise

Anushka occasionally assists in summary criminal law matters and has appeared in the Local Court of New South Wales on numerous occasions.

The passion for family law

Anushka’s passion for Family Law began in early 2019 when she first entered the legal industry. While working in the family law field, she understood the grave impact that family law proceedings have on each individual and has gained a particular interest in helping families in need. Anushka believes working in Family Law has tremendous meaning and gives purpose to all parties involved, making the practice highly rewarding.
